Waterloo Man Arrested In Oelwein For Assault With Weapon

Oelwein police have arrested a Waterloo man in connection with an assault.

Officers took Gary Sumpter, 48, into custody on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon early Sunday evening (March 25, 2018). According to a police report, the incident happened in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.
