According to KCRG, Walmart will be limiting the number of customers allowed in the store at a time. They'll be doing what many retailers did at the beginning of the pandemic, keeping a count of all customers entering and leaving the store.

Monday, Governor Reynolds issued a mask mandate during an address. Under the new mandate, everyone over the age of two must wear a mask when inside public spaces and can't social distance for 15 minutes or longer. It also limits indoor events to 15 people and outdoor gatherings to 30 people. Also, all organized youth and adult sports (not including high school, collegiate and professional) are suspended. See more details surrounding the mandate here. This new mandate is in effect through December 10.

With COVID-19 cases on the rise and mandates in place, retailers like Walmart are doing what they can. This is especially important considering the holiday shopping season is here. Another approach Walmart is taking is that they are spreading out their Black Friday sales in hopes to limit the number of people in their stores during this crazy time of year.

If you plan on doing in-person shopping this year, remember to mask up!
