
UNI Student Wins $100,000 in ‘NBA2K20 Championship’
University of Northern Iowa junior Ty DeBondt from LeGrand, won $100,000 for being the best "NBA 2K" gamer in the world. On Saturday in Los Angeles, he competed in the esports "NBA 2K20" Global Championship. He was one of four players from the USA who qualified for the global championship.
