Dumb and Dumber" was released in 1994 and became one of the most quotable and rewatchable movies of all time. One of the scenes featured Lloyd (Jim Carrey) trading Harry’s (Jeff Daniels) ‘Mutt Cut’ van for a minibike and the pair ride it from Nebraska to Aspen, Colorado. Jim Carrey’s character even referred to it as “The Hog” and that it got 70 miles per gallon.

Two different minibikes were used during the filming of Dumb and Dumber. One ended up at a Planet Hollywood, while the other was given to a crew member who kept it in storage for a couple of decades before it eventually ended up for sale online, selling for $50,000.

If you recall in the movie when Harry and Lloyd first embarked on the minibike journey, the temperature was quite pleasant in Nebraska, but by the time they reached Aspen, it’s freezing cold. (the film was actually shot in/around Breckenridge, CO)

Ari Henning and Zack Courts recently uploaded a 30-minute video of their adventure on YouTube. On their six-horsepower minibike, they burned up two gallons of gas in 50 miles as they were carrying around 400 pounds with a top speed of around 35 MPH.

Their trip totaled 382 miles and they used up just seven gallons of gas --- plus two and a half rear tires. They spent $22 in gas to get to Aspen.

Dumb and Dumber was released on December 16, 1994, and grossed $247 million at the box office, debuting at #1. Jim Carrey was nominated for a Razzie Award for "Worst New Star".
