Two Arrested In Waterloo Convenience Store Robbery
Two Waterloo men have been arrested on charges connected to a local convenience store robbery.
Officers took Charles Allen III and Kamarious Jenkins, both 18, into custody on Monday (March 26, 2018). They were each charged with second-degree robbery and booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.
The charges stem from an investigation into a robbery at Kwik Star, 1105 Cedar Bend St., earlier the same day. According to Waterloo police, two masked men entered the convenience store around 2:30 AM Monday. They demanded money from clerk, but didn't display any weapons.
Police said the suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
