The Most Popular Horror Movie Villain In Iowa….

'Tis the season for horror movies, right? Whether you like horror movies or not, you most likely know of all the villains in them. I am talking about Michael Myers, Pennywise, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Chucky, etc., we know them all and hate to love them all. That's why there is a new list out of each state's favorite horror movie villain.

Surprisingly, classic villains such as Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees did not make the list for any state and yet some I don't consider horror movies like Carrie and the Shining also made the list. In fact, Jack Torrance from the Shining is the most popular among 10 different states including Colorado where the movie set is.

Iowa's favorite horror movie villain is...Pennywise from "IT." I mean crowns are pretty creepy so this isn't surprising. Pennywise is the second favorite horror movie villain with claim to 8 states... we must all really hate clowns.

Other horror movie villains that made the list include Hannibal Lecter, Chucky, Leatherface, Frankenstein's Monster, Alien, Ghostface, Norman Bates, Count Dracula & Freddy Krueger.
