An Eastern Iowa teen faces several charges after leading Buchanan County deputies on a chase into Linn County Saturday night (April, 9, 2016).

The incident started around 6 p.m., when a Buchanan County deputy tried to pull over a vehicle near 310th Street and Stewart Avenue, southeast of Quasqueton.

The car, driven by Chase Zerba, 18, of Coggon, did not stop; Zerba tried to elude the deputy, but the chase came to an end in Linn County, in the 2200 block of Seven Hills Road, southwest of Coggon.

Zerba was arrested on charges of eluding, possession of marijuana, possession of another controlled substance-Alprazolam, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, failure to obey a stop sign, and no proof of insurance.

The incident is still under investigation.

The Buchanan County sheriff deputies were assisted by sheriff's deputies from Linn and Delaware counties.
