Did you order shards of metal in your burrito? If not, hope you weren't served any. Taco Bell has removed 2.3 million pounds of seasoned beef from locations in 21 states after a customer found a metal shaving in a menu item, the fast-food chain said Tuesday.

The issue grew on Saturday after three Taco bell customers complained about metal pieces in their beef.

This Taco Bell beef came from Kenosha Beef in Columbus, Ohio. The meat in question was produced between September 20 and October 4, the beef being recalled involves seasoned beef taco and burrito filling shipped to Taco Bells all over the US. The product was sent to distribution centers in Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Virginia, and then to Taco Bell restaurants in 21 states across the eastern Midwest, northern Southeast and Northeast. If you happen to visit an area Taco Bell, and we have two in the Cedar Valley, you may be left asking, 'where's the beef?'
