Step Back In Time & Tour These Classic Eastern Iowa Homes
Who doesn't love checking out unique, older homes?
A Cedar Valley favorite is returning again this year! In association with the Grout Museum District in Waterloo, people will be able to tour interesting homes as a part of an annual fundraiser.
The 2023 Tour of Classic Homes is hosted by the Friends of the Grout Historic Houses. On Saturday, August 26th you can tour multiple classic homes and buildings.
This tour is set to run from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and will have attendees explore buildings in both Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Here is a full list of all of the houses that will be viewed that day:
- 903 Iowa St, Cedar Falls
- 501 W. 1St St, Cedar Falls
- 404 Allen St, Waterloo
- 335 Almond St, Waterloo
- West Side Fire Station Number 2, El Mecca Building, 720 Commercial St, Waterloo
- 2203 Idaho St, Waterloo
- Weis Manson Bed & Breakfast, 800 W. 4th St, Waterloo
All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the Rensselaer Russell House Museum and the Snowden House. If you are interested in going, you must register and pay a fee of $15.
Tickets for children and adults are the same price.
