A Chicago family sitting on their porch this week caught the neighborhood porch pirate on video.

Noemi Gutierrez was on her porch when she saw a squirrel sniffing around the Amazon package on the porch across the street, so she started recording.

They watched as the squirrel picked up the package, and scaled the brick up to the roof of the building.

It paused for a minute, and then jumped to the tree, presumably to take the package home and open it.

Gutierrez says she suspects the squirrel is the one that stole her tortillas earlier this month.

"I just want to know how many packages are in the roof or between the crack," Gutierrez told Block Club Chicago.
