With the camping season beginning, the Chickasaw County Conservation Board wants to make you aware that due to problems with the water supply, Split Rock Park, near Fredericksburg, will be without water until continuous chlorination can be installed.

In the mean time, camping rates are reduced to $10/day until the water system is fixed and the water supply is turned back on.

Brian Moore, Director of the Chickasaw County Conservation Board says they apologize for any inconveniences.  Split Rock Park does have a pond for swimming and fishing, plus there are a picnic areas with shelters.  The park is open for outings and camping.
