With a wintry mix of rain and snow falling across the northern part of Iowa this morning, area school districts that held classes are dismissing early due to deteriorating roads today (Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017).

AEA - River Hills: Closing at 11:15 a.m.
Cedar Falls: Secondary schools dismissing at 11:15 a.m.; Elementary schools at 12:15 p.m.
Waterloo Community: Middle and high schools dismissing at 11 a.m. (No Lunch); Elementary schools (including Cunningham) dismissining at 12:30 p.m. (after lunch). All after-school/evening games and activities are canceled. Varsity practices are being held when school dismisses and will conclude by 12:30 p.m.
