Some area schools are delaying the start of classes today, due to dense fog.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for all of northeast Iowa until 10 AM for visibility down to a quarter mile or less.

Jesup (including St. Athanasius): Delayed 2 hours

North Tama: Delayed 2 hours

Union Community: Delayed 2 hours

Vinton-Shellsburg: Delayed 2 hours; No morning preschool

West Delaware (including St. Mary's): Delayed 2 hours
