School Announcements – Monday, March 4, 2019
Many northeast Iowa school districts are delaying the start of classes today, due to winter weather.
Unseasonably cold air combined with brisk northwest winds will create dangerous wind chill values of 20 to 35 below zero over much of Iowa through this morning. A wind chill advisory is in effect for the entire region until noon.

Dunkerton: Delayed 2 hours
Independence (inc. St. John's): Delayed 2 hours
Jesup (inc. St. Athanasius): Delayed 2 hours; No morning activities
Nashua-Plainfield: Resuming regular bus routes, starting today
North Fayette Valley: Delayed 2 hours
Northeast Iowa Community College - Oelwein Center: Opening at 10 AM
Oelwein (including Sacred Heart): Delayed 2 hours; No morning preschool
Wapsie Valley (including Community Lutheran - Readlyn): Delayed 2 hours; No before school practices or activities
