School Announcements – Monday, Jan. 28, 2019

Several school districts in northeast Iowa are either closed or delaying the start of classes, due to winter weather.

Strong winds will create blowing and drifting snow, reducing visibility. A winter storm warning is posted for counties generally north of U.S. Highway 20 until 3 PM, and a winter weather advisory is in effect for areas south of the highway. Snow fall totals were expected to range between 4" to 8" in northeast Iowa.
