School Announcements – Monday, Feb. 4, 2019
Some northeast Iowa school districts delaying the start of classes today and others are altering bus routes, due to road conditions.
Rain and melting snow has softened some of the less-traveled rural roads, making them difficult for buses to navigate.
Below is the list of school announcements for Monday, Feb. 4, 2019.
BCLUW: Buses on hard surface roads only
Dunkerton: Buses on hard surface roads only
Gladbrook-Reinbeck: Buses on hard surface roads only (morning and afternoon)
Grundy Center: Buses on hard surface roads only
Howard-Winneshiek: Delayed 2 hours; Classes dismissed one-hour early, due to parent-teacher conferences
Hudson: Buses on hard surface alternate roads only
Iowa Falls-Alden: Hard surface routes
New Hampton: Delayed 2 hours; No morning practices
North Tama: Buses on hard surface roads only (morning and afternoon)
South Winneshiek: Delayed 2 hours
Turkey Valley: Delayed 2 hours
Union Community: Buses on hard surface roads only
