Several northeast Iowa school districts are either closed or delaying the start of classes Friday, due to the winter storm. Some students will be learning remotely.

Widespread blowing and drifting of snow continues to create hazardous driving conditions in northeast and east-central Iowa. The Iowa Department of Transportation was advising NO TRAVEL Friday morning in several counties, including: Allamakee, Black Hawk, Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Grundy, Fayette, Tama and Winneshiek.

In many those counties, tow bans are also in place through mid-morning.
