Some northeast Iowa school districts are delaying the start of classes today, due to winter weather.

Conditions are improving. Below zero temperatures overnight are expected to rise into the teens above zero during the day.

BCLUW: Delayed 2 hours; Buses on hard surface roads only

Center Point-Urbana: Delayed 2 hours

Denver: Delayed 2 hours; No morning preschool

Dunkerton: Delayed 2 hours; Buses on hard surface roads only

East Buchanan: Delayed 2 hours

Gladbrook-Reinbeck: Buses on hard surface roads only

Grundy Center: Normal Start Time; Buses on hard surface roads only.

Hudson: Buses running alternate routes; No morning activities

Independence (including St. John's): Delayed 2 hours; No morning activities

Jesup (including St. Athanasius): Delayed 2 hours; Buses running where possible.

North Tama: Buses on hard surface roads only

Union Community: Regular start time; Buses on hard surface roads only; Buildings open at 6:30 AM

Vinton Shellsburg: Delayed 2 hours; No early dismissal

Wapsie Valley (including Community Lutheran - Readlyn): Delayed 2 hours; No morning practices

West Delaware (including St. Mary's): Delayed 2 hours
