
Rural Waverly Accident Caused by Utah Trucker
A truck driver from Utah is being charged with causing a two vehicle accident near Waverly.
The Bremer County Sheriff was called out shortly after 5am Monday (Oct. 30), to an accident at Highway 3 and Highway 218, just west of Waverly.

56 year old Wendy Spencer of West Jordan, Utah, was attempting to drive her semi onto Highway 3 from the northbound Highway 218 off-ramp, but struck a westbound vehicle on Highway 3 driven by 52 year old Mark Debower of Waverly.
Debower's vehicle then overturned.
No one was injured.
Spencer was charged with Failure to Yield Upon Entering a Through Roadway.
