Cedar Falls Police Arrest Man In Sexual Assault Investigation

The Cedar Falls Police Department has arrested a Cedar Falls man after a sexual assault investigation.

On Friday, September 15th, 2017, Cedar Falls Police responded to an apartment complex to investigate a reported sexual assault. An adult victim reported being sexually assaulted while inside an apartment. The investigation revealed the suspect made sexual contact with the victim and the act was done without the consent of the victim.

On Monday, October 30th, Brandon Westendorf, 21, of Cedar Falls was charged with 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and taken to the Black Hawk County Jail.

Third Degree Sexual Abuse is a Class C Felony. A Class C Felony is punishable by confinement up to 10 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
