
Rescued Swan Craps All Over the back of Squad Car
A sheriff's deputy near the Twin Cities rescued a wounded trumpeter swan from the middle of the road. He placed the bird in the back of his squad car and eventually released it along the river in a safe location.
To repay its gratitude, the Swan relieved itself all over the back seat of the squad car.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office wrote:
“Most of the time when we give rides to a place other than jail it's appreciated. Photo evidence proves that was not the case this time."

According to threeriverspark.org, the current estimate for trumpeter swan populations in Minnesota is more than 25,000.
