Just days after the tragic death of NBA star Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, fans ban together to memorialize the legend by petitioning to change the NBA logo's silhouette to that of Kobe Bryant.

As fans all around the world continue to share their tributes to the late NBA star, one fan has started a petition to keep his legend living on through the NBA logo. According to People, Nick M. launched the petition page to change the silhouette on the NBA's logo from former Lakers player Jerry West to Kobe Bryant. Nick M. didn't expect much to come from this petition with his goal being to get at least 100 signatures, but he was shocked to see the overwhelming support for this idea!

In just two days since the petition has been up and shared via social media, the petition has gotten over 1.6 million signatures! Not only that, but it has been supported by celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Jamal Crawford and Larry Nance Jr. Fans have also been sharing their own art of how the logo should look now. We will have to wait and see how the NBA decides to react to this petition and if this will logo will change.
