Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak shared a personal milestone that occurred within his family this past week.

The announcement came on Monday's episode of the show, when the 74-year-old host and Vanna White took time out of the show for their usual banter.

"Do you mind if I do a little parental bragging here?" Sajak asked White. He is the father of two children named Patrick, 30-years-old, and Margaret, 26-years-old, with his wife, Lesly.

"So you know my son, Patrick, you've known him all his life. Well he's made it through medical school, and he is now officially Dr. Sajak, and we're all thrilled about that," he said.

He then took a moment to joke about the title already going to his son's head.

"The only troubling part is he insists that I call him ‘Dr. Sajak,’" Sajak said with a laugh.

He went on to say he and Lesly couldn't be prouder of him. "I tried to get him into geriatrics but he refused, but that’s a personal thing."

He ended the moment by turning to the camera and saying "Congratulations son."

If you recall, Sajak had to take time off of the show in 2019 in order to fix a blocked intestine in an emergency surgery. Vanna White covered the hosting gig while he recovered until he could return.

It's probably a good thing he's got a doctor in the family now.

Sajak's daughter Maggie also took to Instagram to congratulate her brother's big accomplishment.
