Oversized Vehicles Prohibited from Driving in Iowa
With the High Wind Warning in effect for all of Iowa, the Iowa Department of Transportation announced that all oversized/overweight permitted vehicles will be restricted from traveling in the state effective now until 30 minutes prior to sunrise on Thursday.
**The sun rises at 7:32 on Thursday in Waterloo, 7:28 in Cedar Rapids, and 7:26 in Dubuque.
Also, the Saylorville Lake Bridge is closed until Thursday morning due to the high winds. The bridge in Polk County is 4,933.3 feet in length.
