Oelwein Police Report Arrests

The Oelwein Police Department made several arrests over the weekend.

Officers cited 55 year old Wendy Burgos of Oelwein for Driving while License Suspended. The citation followed a traffic stop on Saturday at 12:40pm in the 100 block of 2nd ST NE.

Justin Schoultz, 36, of Oelwein was arrested on Saturday at 7:05pm for a Fayette County warrent with original charges of Failures to Appear for a charge of violation of a No Contact order. The arrest was made in the 10 block of 6th ST NW.

Also on Saturday, 39 year old Jeremiah Larson of Oelwein was arrested around 7:05pm on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge Theft in the 2nd degree. The arrest was made in the 10 block of 6th ST NW.

On Friday, Officers arrested 27 year old Matthew Carter of Oelwein and charged him with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrested was made following a traffic stop in the 900 block of S. Frederick Ave around 11:19pm.
