Two northeast Iowa men escaped serious injuries in separate vehicle rollovers on Interstate 380 late Thursday afternoon (Jan. 31, 2019).

The first accident was called in to the Linn County Sheriff's Office around 4 PM. The crash happened on near Hagerman Road, south of Center Point.

Investigators said 52-year-old Daniel Brown of Winthrop lost control of his northbound vehicle, which rolled into a ditch. Brown was taken to a Cedar Rapids for treatment of minor injuries.

The other accident happened about an hour later, just before 5 PM, southwest of Center Point.

According to authorities, a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Hunter Reisner of Oelwein, was traveling south near Center Ridge Road, when his vehicle went out of control and rolled in the median. Reisner also suffered minor injuries and was treated at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Sheriff's officials say both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
