So good!

The only thing that can beat a Friday in the fall under stadium lights are the Friday nights in the spring at your local fish fry.

There are two solid reasons to hit up your local fish fry on a Friday night in April. Number 1, the food is always amazing. The workers do such a good job making the food and it's always outstanding. The second reason is that it's such a good community. There are usually just a bunch of round tables set up and if you are there alone or with a group, you can find a seat at anyone's table are you are more than welcome to sit down.

This past Friday (4/5/19), I made my way to the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry dinner at St. Patrick's Church in Cedar Falls. The line was almost out the door and it was totally worth it. The line moved quickly to get to a great menu of:

Fried and Baked Fish
Baked Potato
Green Beans
Macaroni and Cheese
Grilled Cheese Sandwich
and for dessert: Rainbow Sherbet Ice Cream (my favorite) with a sugar cookie on top.

All of that with a glass a milk was the perfect Friday night meal!
