We now know the names of the 2 men involved in a farming-related accident, in which one of them has died.

 

It happened at about 2pm Thursday, 5 miles northwest of Lansing.

55 year old Richard Weber Jr. of Lansing was caught while working in a forage wagon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other man, 52 year old Christopher Weber of Lansing, became trapped in the farming machinery. He had to be airlifted to a LaCrosse, Wisconsin hospital, with serious injuries, but a condition report was not available.

The accident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff.
