A convicted sex offender, accused of watching women take showers inside a northeast Iowa college dormitory, has entered his plea in the case.

Court records show Victor Hasvold, 33, pleaded guilty to two counts of invasion of privacy.

The incident happened last month at Miller Hall on the Luther College campus in Decorah.

Hasvold had a previous conviction from 2007 from Johnson County, for molesting an 11-year-old girl. Hasvold was released from prison in March 2018, then put on the state sex offender registry. He was also on life-time parole.

For the invasion of privacy charges in which he pleaded guilty, Hasvold was sentenced to two years in prison. The term will run consecutive to a sentence for violating his parole.
