Man Arrested 3 Times in 12 Hours, Twice By Same Cop

A 29-year-old man was arrested by the New York State Police three times in less than 12 hours for multiple traffic infractions and drug charges.

All three arrests happened March 7th, with the first run-in at 8am. Robert Radek was stopped for a traffic law violation while driving through Newburgh.

The trooper found out Radek was driving a suspended license and also found him to be in possession of crack.

He faced charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, but was given a desk appearance ticket and sent on his way.

Four and a half hours later, around 2:30pm, Radek was driving a different car when he was stopped for a different traffic violation.

The same trooper who pulled him over the first time was the one who stopped him the second time. This time, Radek had crack AND heroin on him. He was once again charged for criminal possession of a controlled substance, but once again give a desk appearance ticket and sent on his way.

Hardly even three hours after the second arrest, Radek was spotted driving the car he was arrested in the first time when he was stopped for "multiple traffic violations."

This time the mistake was that Radek was impaired by drugs (presumably cocaine and/or heroin). He was charged with driving while impaired and "aggravated unlicensed operator," which is a felony.
