La Porte City Man Busted for Shoplifting, Trespass In Oelwein
A La Porte City man has been arrested in Oelwein on theft and other charges.
Police were called to a business in the 1300 block of S. Frederick Ave. on a report of a shoplifter around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday (April 17, 2018).
Following an investigation, officers took Jefferey McCowen into custody. McCowen, 61, is charged with third-degree theft, trespass, driving with a suspended license, and no proof of insurance.
