
Blink and You Missed It: 2026 Cy-Hawk Game Sells Out
Back in May, we learned that this year's Cy-Hawk battle between Iowa and Iowa State would be held under the lights at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Tickets went on sale this week to the public, and needless to say, they didn't last long!
2026 Cy-Hawk Game is a Sellout!
The Des Moines Register reports that the Cy-Hawk game between the Hawkeyes and Cyclones is officially sold out. The game will be played September 12th at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Single game tickets were made available to the public the morning of Thursday, July 16th, and sold out quickly!
The Register reports that each of Iowa's seven home games the past four seasons has sold out. University of Iowa student tickets for this season are also sold out.

Tickets Available on Secondary Market
If you really want to be at this year's Cy-Hawk game, you'll have to head to the secondary ticket market. As of this morning, tickets for the Iowa vs. Iowa State game on Seat Geek were going for between $200 and nearly $1,000 per seat!
Here is the rest of Iowa's home football schedule this season.
- Northern Illinois - September 5th
- Iowa State - September 12th SOLD OUT
- UNI - September 19th
- Ohio State - October 3rd
- Wisconsin - October 31st
- Purdue - November 7th
- Nebraska - November 27th
Iowa will be on the road this season against Michigan, Washington, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Illinois.
As of the writing of this article, tickets were still available for home games against Northern Illinois and UNI.
