Everyone has their favorite show to watch on Netflix. I just started the new season of Last Chance U: Basketball, featuring John Mosley and the East LA College basketball team. If you love basketball, a good underdog story, or sports documentaries, you need to check it out. It's a great show.

Though I just started the season, I don't typically watch Netflix much unless I'm with my girlfriend, but so far we've watched two seasons of Love is Blind, and we're currently watching the animated comedy show Big Mouth.

One of our other favorites is considered to be the most popular in Iowa, according to Bookies.com. Thanks to Connor Kenny from B100 for the idea.

The site went through and tabbed the most popular Netflix shows in each state, including our very own. According to the page, in order to obtain the data, they "Utilized Google Trends to identify the most searched for Netflix shows in each state. We filtered by the term 'Netflix', by state, and by timeframe (2022), to get a picture of the most popular shows."

Iowa's top choice? The 1910's and 20's drama, Peaky Blinders.

If you haven't heard of the show, IMDB describes it as such: "A gangster family epic set in 1900s England, centering on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby."

Chances are you've seen clips of the show or are familiar, given its popularity -- and not just in Iowa. The show was the most popular nationwide, coming in as the top-ranked show in 14 different states according to the study.

Here are some clips from the show (that feature some NSFW moments) that might get you to start watching:

As a fan of the show, I highly recommend it. In fact, it's so good, I copied Tommy Shelby's haircut.

What Twitter Thinks Living in Iowa is Like

Twitter is a strange, (and can be a) dark place. What it has to say about the Hawkeye State is pretty accurate, though. Let's see what tweeters out there have to say about Iowa in 280 characters or less.
