I swear that I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud about this...

'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' concert movie premiered in theaters last week. Fans all across the country showed up at their local theaters and helped break a box office record for concert movies.

It is now the highest grossing concert film domestically for an opening weekend.

On opening weekend, this flick brought in about $96 million at the box office in North America, according to reports.

On the first Friday that the movie was in theaters, a few friends and I made our way to Dubuque to go see the concert film!

We thought the movie would only be showing at AMC theatres. On the day tickets went on sale we scrambled to make sure we got seats on what we thought would be opening night.

Turns out, the movie is showing in pretty much every theater in the country. It was still a fun little day trip though!

As soon as you walked into the movie theater, you could tell that legions of Taylor Swift fans were gearing up for the show. I saw people dressed in some amazing Swift inspired looks; from recreations of music video outfits, concert merch, to a bunch of comfy cardigans.

My friend Beth and I even joined in on the fun!

This was unlike any movie I've been to before.

AMC Theatres sold MERCHANDISE for the movie! Isn't that kind of crazy? I indulged and got the big, plastic Eras Tour popcorn bucket.

What will I use it for in the future? Honestly, I don't know but it's so flipping cute!

I was ready for people to get up and dance at the theater! Especially on opening weekend, I expected it to be an excitable crowd that would want to sing along to their favorite Taylor tracks.

There were even a few times that I stood up and danced for a song or too! It was a wonderful and thrilling experience for diehard Swifties like myself. Being able to connect and engage with other people who were just as passionate about Taylor as I was.

It's even encouraged by Taylor herself!

However...

There was one thing that I cannot tolerate in any movie theater. Even if it's a concert movie, please do not do this.

Whether you are going to see the Eras Tour movie for the first or fifteenth time, do not have your phone camera's flash on. I'm all for dancing, singing, and even a little bit of light cheering.

Taking videos with the flash on is where I draw the line!

The part that really bothered me about this, is that I did not see a single teen or child with their phone in hand during the nearly three-hour movie. They were vibing during the movie. Unfortunately, the culprits I have to call out are all adults who should definitely know better.

Just read the room when you go to this AMAZING movie AND do not blind me with your phone's flash, pretty please!
