Within the last several years, the United States government finally confirmed to the public that they have knowledge of Unidentified Flying Objects -- not aliens -- just UFOs.

If you ask me, the timing of the confirmation of UFOs in American skies was definitely strategic. Amid the pandemic, social justice upheaval, and a pending election, it was the right time for the government to tell us that they definitely have had videos of the flying vehicles.

There was also an update that came in May of this year, where ABCNews reported "Top Pentagon officials told a House panel that there are now close to 400 reports from military personnel of possible encounters with UFOs."

A man in Des Moines believes that there have now been 401 sightings that can be confirmed, and this isn't one of the wackjobs on Ancient Aliens.

According to KCCI, Jacob Ferrell was "on Hickman Road near Merle Hay Road looking north" when he saw what he believed to be a UFO flying across the night sky on Tuesday night.

Here's the video:

This is what Ferrell told the news station:

It was an eye-ball-looking UFO. I don't know what to make of it. ... It was kind of just hovering there in the sky, just staying still. ... It was just too weird.

KCCI got in contact with the National UFO Reporting Center in Davenport, Washington -- a town of fewer than 2,000 people about 40 minutes from Spokane -- and they are currently looking into it.

Peter Davenport, director of the NUFORC since 1994, said the following when he was asked about the video:

I have no reason to believe it is an alien spacecraft.

If you or someone you know claims to have seen a UFO in the night sky, you can file a report with the NUFORC on their website.
