Indee Motorcyclist and Passenger Treated for Injuries

An Independence man is being charged with causing a motorcycle accident in rural Buchanan County.

The crash was reported shortly after 6pm Saturday (Oct. 21) at the intersection of 290th Street and Dugan Avenue, north of Brandon.

A 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster, driven by Paul Crawford, went out of control, through the intersection, and into a field.

Crawford and his passenger, Julie Ramos-Ochoa of Davenport, were taken by private vehicle to the Independence Hospital, for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Crawford is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
