As most of us know, a big part of the buying/selling of a home involves a home inspector giving the all clear on the home. After seeing what this inspector did, you'll probably not just hand over the keys and leave.

Kevin Wayne VanLuven, 59, was arrested on charges of aggravated indecent exposure and malicious destruction of property under $200. His bond has been set at $2,500.

His charges stem from an incident that took place on March 12th in Oakland County, MI during a property inspection.

A buyer of a home had requested an inspection, so Kevin went. As he walked through the house, he eventually entered the nursery for the inspection. He picked up an Elmo doll and pleasured himself with it, then placed it back where it was originally at.

Little did he know, was that the 22-year-old homeowner received a notification on her phone that there was movement in the nursery, so she pulled up the nanny cam just in time to catch Kevin in the act.

She called the police, who came and questioned him about the incident. Kevin claimed he just moved the doll to check the outlet and put it back. It was after they told him about the camera that he "made incriminating statements and apologized," according to the release.

“Just when I think I have seen it all, someone steps up and surprises me with a new level of disturbing actions,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a Facebook post. “Sadly, in today’s world we cannot take it on faith that the people we let into our homes can be trusted. We cannot always presume that employers have done their job and have confidence their employees are trustworthy and are there to do the job for which they’ve been hired. This is a disgusting reminder to be cautious about who you let into your home. The actions of these homeowners will likely prevent this defendant from going into anyone else’s home.”

While he's still allowed to work (for now), Kevin isn't allowed to be in any home by himself, may not contact the owners of the house with the incident, and has to undergo a mental health evaluation.

In the release, Bouchard said “This is a disgusting reminder to be cautious about who you let into your home. The actions of these homeowners will likely prevent this defendant from going into anyone else’s home.”
