Fredericksburg Man Injured In Black Hawk County Crash
Black Hawk County authorities are investigating a single-vehicle accident that sent a Fredericksburg man to the hospital.
According to sheriff's officials, 57-year-old Jeffrey Pacovsky suffered minor injuries when he lost control of his van and rolled into a ditch. Pacovsky was assisted from the vehicle by deputies, then was transported to a Waterloo hospital for treatment.
The crash happened in the 7200 block of North Raymond Road (County Road V-49), northeast of Waterloo, just before 1 AM Thursday. Sheriff's officials said the van rolled on its side in the ditch after leaving the roadway.
The accident remains under investigation.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Dunkerton Fire and Ambulance.
