Former Hawkeye is Bringing His New Vodka to Iowa

It looks really good!

Former Iowa standout and retired Minnesota Viking, Chad Greenway, will be bringing his new vodka to the great state of Iowa.

It's called Gray Duck Handcrafted Vodka. Distilled in Minnesota, there is a long running tradition that Minnesotans don't play the game "Duck Duck Goose" but rather "Duck Duck Gray Duck" and that's where the name of the vodka comes from.

Iowa City will the first lucky Iowa town to score Gray Duck. The St. Burch Tavern will host a launch party on April 18th with Greenway in attendance to sign bottles for fans.

"It's been fun going into our fourth state and obviously very fun to be in the state of Iowa with so many ties for me back there," said Greenway. He even made a promotional video for the Gray Duck Twitter page.
