“Fly Iowa” Sets 2019 Date & Location
The popular air show sets summer date.
Fly Iowa has been a fun air show to witness for Iowans for the past 25 years. Fly Iowa has circled Iowa municipal airports and this year Boone Municipal Airport gets the honors. Boone is about 50 miles west of Marshalltown and will have all sorts of planes buzzing above on Saturday, August 3rd.
The day stars off with a breakfast for spectators and pilots alike. Then there will be a display of all sorts of aircraft like plan planes, helicopters, and even old and new military aircraft. One of the notable pilots coming to Fly Iowa is Julie Clark. She flies the Julie Clark Airshow where she flies her Beechcraft T-34 Mentor where she can time her aerial acrobatics to a musical encore.
There are even talks of bringing hot air balloon rides to the event. But there is already a Kidz Zone hands-on area, food vendors, and aviation vendors as well.
It should be a good time at Fly Iowa at Boone Municipal Airport on Saturday August 3rd.
