Iowa is a leader in agriculture, a distinction that isn't possible without the work of today's youth, says  IFBF President Brent Johnson.

Iowa Farm Bureau is proud to award nearly $500,000 in annual scholarships to these students whose agricultural knowledge will strengthen the industry and Iowa’s rural communities.

Applications are now being accepted by high school students graduating in spring 2022 for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federations scholarship. Iowa Farm Bureau is offering 27 high school seniors $2,500 in scholarship funds which are renewable for four years- up to $10,000

Each of Iowa’s farm bureau counties will send in one application to be considered for one of the 27 scholarship awards.

To qualify, students must be a member or be the child of a current member of the Iowa farm bureau. Students must also have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, be involved in extracurricular and be accepted into a higher education program.

More information on the scholarship program can be found here.
