Fayette County authorities are charging a southwest Wisconsin woman with a list of violations following a traffic stop.

Shortly after 10pm Wednesday (March 15), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of an erratic driver, between West Union and Clermont. 53 year old Brenda Siegele of Patch Grove was pulled over; she was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia, and Failing to Obey a Traffic Control Device.

On arrival of the county jail, authorities discovered that Siegele was in possession of a controlled substance. She was then charged with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Facility. Siegele was held in the Fayette County jail until her initial court appearance.

Also on Wednesday night, the sheriff received a driving complaint south of West Union. Responding deputies found the driver, 34 year old Joshua Snyder, asleep in his vehicle. He was taken into custody on charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

And officers located and arrested a young Oelwein man, 18 year old Federico Luna, on a Fayette County warrant for False Application for a License or I.D. Card. The Oelwein Police Department assisted the Fayette County Sheriff.
