When soldiers are told they are being deployed it is not just hard on them and what they are sacrificing but it is also hard for the loved ones they are leaving behind who have to deal with their absence and pray for their safety every day. That is why the Family Readiness Group of Dubuque's Alpha Company is so important to help support the families.

According to KWWL, on March 29th between 8:30 am and11:30 am there will be a pancake breakfast held at Catfish Charlie's in Dubuque. This breakfast will benefit the Family Readiness Group of Dubuque's Alpha Company to help support the families of the 133rd Infantry "Ironman Battalion." As it has been announced that the 133rd Infantry will be sent to the Middle East for up to a year and many send of ceremonies will be in May.

For those who want to support this cause, tickets are being sold by the Dubuque National Guard Armory and through any Alpha Company Soldier. Help support soldiers and their families who sacrifice so much for us.
