Iowa High School Softball Rankings – Thursday, 06/21/2018
The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) has released the fifth softball rankings of the 2018 season.
Nine teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the poll and two of them lead their respective classes. Independence takes over the No. 1 spot in Class 4A, while two-time defending state champion Kee High sits on top of the 1A survey.
AGWSR and Clarksville are also ranked among the top-10 Class 1A squads, while Charles City and Waverly-Shell Rock are featured in the 3A ratings.
The other rated teams include: Jesup (No. 14, Class 2A), Waterloo Columbus Catholic (No. 3, Class 3A), Crestwood (No. 14, Class 3A).
