2018-19 Iowa High School Girls Basketball Rankings

Here is this week's Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) basketball poll.

The third rankings of the season feature 12 teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa.

The highest-rated area team is Grundy Center (4-0), which is No. 1 in Class 2A following a second-place finish at the state tournament last season. Ranked behind the Spartans are Dike-New Hartford (No. 9) and Jesup (No. 14).

Other area squads in the survey are AGWSR, Clarksville, Janesville (Class 1A), Center Point-Urbana, defending state champion Crestwood, Iowa Falls-Alden, Waukon (Class 3A), Waverly-Shell Rock (Class 4A) and Cedar Falls (Class 5A).

The latest poll was released by the IGHSAU Thursday afternoon (Dec. 6, 2018).
