2020 Iowa High School Football Rankings

Heading into the final week of the Iowa high school football regular season, nine area teams are ranked by the Associated Press in the latest poll.

With one game left before the playoffs begin, Don Bosco (4-0) and Grundy Center (6-0) remain No. 1 in their respective classes. They are among 33 teams that are still unbeaten across the state.

Don Bosco leads the 8-player poll, which also includes Gladbrook-Reinbeck (6-0) at No. 8. Grundy Center is rated at the top of the Class A survey, which features four other northeast Iowa teams: Edgewood-Colesburg (6-0) at No. 4, MFL-Mar-Mac (5-1) at No. 6, Wapsie Valley (5-1) at No. 8 and South Winneshiek (5-1) at No. 9.

Other rated teams from the area are Waukon (4-1) and West Delaware (6-1). Waukon is rated No. 4 in Class 2A, while the Hawks are No. 8 in Class 3A.
