2020-21 Iowa High School Boys Basketball Rankings – Poll 8
Four boys high school basketball teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the eighth Associated Press poll of the season, released by the organization late Monday afternoon.
Cedar Falls continues to be the favorites to win the Class 4A state championship. The unbeaten Tigers (12-0) are rated No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week. They received seven of the 10 first-place votes that were cast by a state-wide panel of sports journalists.
Dike-New Hartford (16-2), Denver (16-3) and Aplington-Parkersburg (15-3) are the other rated teams from the region. The North Iowa Cedar League East Division rivals are ranked among the top 10 in the Class 2A survey nearly one week before the start of district tournament play.
