2019-20 Iowa High School Boys Basketball Rankings – Poll 6
Here is the latest Iowa High School boys basketball poll.
Three teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the sixth rankings of the season, released by the Associated Press Monday afternoon. One other are team is receiving votes for the top 10.
Cedar Falls (9-1) has taken the spot that was held by Waterloo West last week. The Tigers jumped to No. 2 from No. 4 in Class 4A after the Wahawks (9-2) suffered their second loss of the season. The Wahawks are ranked seventh this week.
The only area team receiving votes is Don Bosco (11-1), which earned the most of those considered for the Class 1A poll.
The poll features a new No. 1 team in Class 4A. Iowa City West takes over the top spot after beating Waterloo West. Waukee slipped from No. 1 to No. 3 after suffering an overtime loss to West Des Moines Valley.
