
August FROST in Iowa? YEP
The earliest occurrence of FROST in the state happened on this day, August 14, 1964, in Howard County in Saratoga Township --- around 15 miles from the Minnesota border. It wasn't a HARD FROST, but regardless, there was FROST IN AUGUST in Iowa.
