In Wayne County West Virginia, a married couple was arrested after police say the husband was overheard by an employee talking about his plans to rob the Goodwill store.

Around 5:30 PM on Tuesday, Andy and Samantha Maynard were arrested at the Lavalette West Virginia Goodwill according to WSAZ.

Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson said deputies responded to a call that a man had a knife and gun, WOWK-TV reported.

It was discovered that Andy Maynard was a fugitive from Kentucky, and his wife Samatha Maynard was wanted in Wayne County on drug charges. According to police, both Maynards are convicted felons.

Sheriff Deputies searched the couple's vehicle and found a handgun in the driver's seat, a sawed-off shotgun in the back seat, and a revolver on the console.

A third person was seen fleeing the car while police were inside the Goodwill store arresting the couple.

West Virginia State police are executing a search warrant on the vehicle. More charges against the couple are currently pending.

Wayne County Sheriffs added another case to their Facebook post. Two other arrests took place during a traffic stop in Lavalette. Sheriffs found a false coke bottle filled with Methamphetamine and Heroin.

"George 'Bones' Stapleton, of East Lynn, is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver- Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver- Heroin, Conspiracy to Distribute 5 to 50 grams of Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin, and Pseudoephedrine Altered," the Facebook post stated.

The passenger in the car lied about their name but was "recognized from a prior traffic stop as Brenda Shannon, of Ashland. Brenda was a fugitive from Kentucky and placed under arrest."

Looks like the Wayne Country Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit has its hands full this week.
