Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson said deputies responded to a call that a man had a knife and gun, WOWK-TV reported.

It was discovered that Andy Maynard was a fugitive from Kentucky, and his wife Samatha Maynard was wanted in Wayne County on drug charges. According to police, both Maynards are convicted felons.

Sheriff Deputies searched the couple's vehicle and found a handgun in the driver's seat, a sawed-off shotgun in the back seat, and a revolver on the console.

A third person was seen fleeing the car while police were inside the Goodwill store arresting the couple.
